You must be running some variant of Unix. Debian or Ubuntu are suggested, but all versions of Linux and BSDs are usable. Your system must be capable of running our IRCd with SSL enabled. 2. You must have a fixed IP address. 3. Your site must be up 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the long term. 4. Your site must have a decently fast link. We recommend at least 1 gigabit symmetric. 5.
